As curious as she is mischievous, the beautiful peaches and cream Katrina, or "Trina' for short likes to be around people but stay out of the spotlight at Hotel Maison De Ville, a historic hotel in New Orleans. She can often be found hiding in corners and underneath furniture, only announcing her presence with a soft little “meow”.

But Hamlet isn't the only kitty to cause such a fuss at The Algonquin Hotel as he reigns from a long lucky line of rescue cats who have called the hotel home.
Four years ago, Phil, one of the owners of Inn On The Lakes in Sebring, Florida would sit at his desk each day and watch a shy tiny little kitten run around outside of the hotel. For one week, he placed food outside in the parking lot for him and slowly moved it closer to the front door. He finally decided to come inside and has been a part of the family ever since.
The legend that is Louie, known fondly as "King Louie" pre-dates Hotel Eleven. He was known in the neighbourhood before he became a hotel cat in training, then a regular. Over the past two years he has risen in the ranks to Head of Security at Hotel Eleven, a boutique hotel in Austin, Texas.
The story goes that Sally wandered into a nearby truck depot for quick cat nap, little to know she would go on a massive journey of more than 300 miles which would change her destiny from farm cat to hotel cat! Sally spent seven days on the road with the truck before turning up at Brookstown Inn.
