Six Resident Cats Of The Manor, UK

Six Resident Cats Of The Manor, UK

Resident hotel cats are taking up duties in manor houses all across the UK it seems! Manor houses are the purrfect place to reside if you're a cat, with fireplaces, afternoon teas, hiding holes,  gardens to explore, and plenty of visitors from abroad to fuss over you. Here are six smart felines who have become cats of the manor!

1. Miscellaneous Moggy, Holdsworth House, Halifax

This delightful Moggy has become such a permanent fixture in holiday snaps from Holdsworth House, in Halifax, that we thought he lived there. But he doesn't! He frequently sleeps on the bench in the entrance and has been known crash the occasional wedding! No one knows where he comes from though. But he knows he is onto a good thing! Read more.

3. Bert and Mr B, Strattons, Swaffham

Bert was first to move into Strattons, a beautiful boutique hotel in Norfolk, and then Mr B followed and learned the ropes.  Bert realised there was enough love and patrolling duties to be shared around the property, and the tabby boy hasn't looked back. Mr B will greet you at your car for a quick fuss before heading for a snooze in the hotels reception and Bert can be found flashing his snaggletooth around. Read more.
